How to delete your account and personal data from Schedulala

Delete Your Account

🚨 Important Notice

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data from Schedulala. This action cannot be undone. Please ensure you've downloaded any data you want to keep.

Option 1: Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Log into your Schedulala account at https://schedulala.com
  2. Go to Account Settings - Click your profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Disconnect Social Media Accounts - Remove all connected platforms:
    • Facebook Pages
    • Instagram Business accounts
    • Twitter accounts
    • TikTok accounts
    • YouTube channels
    • LinkedIn pages
    • Bluesky accounts
  4. Delete Scheduled Posts - Remove any upcoming scheduled content
  5. Contact Support - Email us at hello@schedulala.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and your account email

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access your account, you can request deletion via email:

Email: hello@schedulala.com

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Reason for deletion (optional)

What Data Gets Deleted

Immediately Deleted:

  • Account Information: Profile details, preferences, settings
  • Social Media Connections: OAuth tokens and access credentials
  • YouTube Data: Disconnecting a YouTube channel immediately deletes its OAuth tokens and all stored YouTube analytics data. You can also revoke Schedulala's access via the Google security settings page
  • Content Data: Scheduled posts, drafts, uploaded media
  • Usage Analytics: Platform engagement data and statistics
  • Brand Profiles: Business information and branding assets

Retained for Legal/Financial Compliance:

  • Payment Records: Billing history (anonymized after 7 years)
  • Security Logs: Access logs for fraud prevention (2 years max)
  • Support Communications: Help desk tickets (3 years max)

Timeline & Process

We acknowledge your deletion request within 24 hours

Identity Verification

We verify your identity to protect your account (1-2 business days)

Data Deletion

Your data is permanently deleted from our systems (within 30 days)

Before You Delete

📥 Download Your Data First

Consider downloading your data before deletion:

  • Scheduled post content and captions
  • Analytics reports and performance data
  • Brand profile information
  • Media files and assets
