Each one starts with "Automated reply:", so nobody thinks you typed it at midnight.

One DM per comment

Instagram allows one automatic DM per comment, within 7 days of it. Once they tap, the chat stays open for 24 hours.

It checks before it starts

It won't switch on until Instagram's events are reaching us, and it pauses if Instagram disconnects.
